I was fortunate to be sent on a work trip to Paris in November 2023. I didn’t get a massive amount of time to spend in the city in the days after I was working, but I did have two full days to explore.
For the work days I was there, I really enjoyed existing in Paris. Walking around the city was great, even in the cold. My holiday days were nice too, though I’d prefer to be there in nicer weather. Most of our time was spent walking around and shopping, so we had a chill time rather than trying to do and see everything.
The city isn’t significantly dirty like some people will make out. It’s just another big European city.
⭐ The hotel I stayed in for work was excellent. But, put it this way: I’m glad I wasn’t paying for it.

During my holiday days, we stayed in a different hotel. The location was excellent and we could get around to lots of places walking.
